DescriptionThe whole story▼
On an F3 675 there is rarely a convenient place to hang a reservoir. That is the OBT009: a 10 g bracket measuring 28.9 mm in height and 31 mm in projection. Black anodised, and black is the whole range for the OBT009. It changes the part of the F3 675 the rider looks at most.
Key Features
- Made in Italy
- 28.9 mm in height, 31 mm of projection
- Reversible — the original part goes back on the F3 675 any time
- 10 g on the F3 675
- The rear bracket of the pair
- Simple, intuitive mounting — LighTech's own description, and it holds
Choosing Front or Rear
Two brackets exist for a reason: height and projection differ front to rear. LighTech dimensions the OBT009 to 28.9 mm by 31 mm so the hose run stays short on the F3 675. It fits the LighTech reservoirs OBT001, OBT006 and OBT007 and is sold without any of them.
Fitment
Fitment is the F3 675 across 2012 to 2025. It is an adaptable bracket, not a MV Agusta part — measure the space on the F3 675 first.
Fitting
Installation on the F3 675 needs no special service tool. Offer the bracket up before tightening — the hose run on the F3 675 decides the angle. No permanent alteration to the F3 675 is involved.
Maintenance
Vibration finds every loose fastener on the F3 675 eventually. There is no service interval for the part itself.
In the Package
LighTech ships the OBT009 on its own. Packaging carries the reference, so a second order is unambiguous.
The Second Part Number
The OBT009 is a bracket and nothing else. It is made for the LighTech reservoir range and fits none of the original parts. A complete installation on the F3 675 is one tank plus one bracket.
Approval Status
This part sits in the brake or clutch hydraulic circuit, which makes it more than a styling item. There is no type approval for the OBT009; we say that plainly rather than bury it. For a road-registered F3 675 in Germany, have the installation assessed before you rely on it — and have the system bled and checked by a workshop afterwards.
