DescriptionThe whole story▼
Insects and grit flatten the fins of a TRACER 7 over a season. LighTech's GPRYA001 is the perforated grille that goes in front of the radiator of the TRACER 7. It is a stock LighTech item, not a special order. Made in Italy, like the rest of the range.
Key Features
- Perforated structure — shields the core without blocking the airflow
- Fixing hardware supplied: screws and/or cable ties, depending on the model
- Prevents the fin damage that costs cooling long before it costs coolant
- LighTech part number GPRYA001
- No approval paperwork is supplied — see the note below
- Listed for the Yamaha TRACER 7
Why a Radiator Guard
A radiator is a heat exchanger made of soft metal facing forward. LighTech supplies the GPRYA001 with the fixings its model needs — screws, cable ties or both. One grille per radiator face.
Fitment and Compatibility
The listing is the TRACER 7, model years 2020 to 2026. Check that the TRACER 7 has no other guard already in that position. Have GPRYA001 and the model year to hand and the question is settled in one message.
Construction and Material
A closed plate would protect and overheat; the perforation prevents that. 197 g is what LighTech lists for it. Made in Italy throughout.
Installation
The GPRYA001 fixes to the radiator face with the supplied screws or cable ties. Make sure nothing fouls the bodywork of the TRACER 7 before the first ride. Nothing on the TRACER 7 is altered permanently.
Supplied With It
No separate hardware order is needed for the GPRYA001. The standard condition of the TRACER 7 can be restored. Note the reference — a repeat order for the same TRACER 7 is then unambiguous.
Supplied As
What arrives is the part itself. Nothing else is required.
What the Paperwork Says
The GPRYA001 carries no approval mark. An added part on the TRACER 7 can come up at a technical inspection. For a road-registered TRACER 7, clarify it with your inspection body before fitting.
