DescriptionThe whole story▼
Weight at the extremities is the weight worth removing first. LighTech lists the CARM1010M as a front mudguard, matt carbon. LighTech states the carbon range is lighter than the standard components it replaces. Made in Italy, like the rest of the range.
Key Features
- Made in Italy
- 245 g
- Listed for the MV Agusta F3 675
- A stock LighTech item
- Clean with neutral detergents only — LighTech's own recommendation
- Lighter than the standard component, according to LighTech
Scope and Conditions
What the CARM1010M does and does not include. A single item — that is LighTech's own specification for the CARM1010M. LighTech describes two mounting routes across the carbon range — silicone at the support points, or supplied screws. Check the box before you start on the CARM1010M. On cleaning, LighTech is specific: neutral detergents, nothing stronger. Note the number CARM1010M down; a later reorder is then unambiguous.
Fitment
The CARM1010M is intended for an MV Agusta F3 675 from 2012 to 2021. Carbon is laid up in a mould, so the fit is as specific as the shape of the original panel. Ask us first if the bodywork of your F3 675 has been changed.
Why Carbon
A panel is a small change with a large share of the visual result. With the CARM1010M the front mudguard of an F3 675 becomes a woven surface rather than a painted one, and LighTech puts the weight below that of the standard part. That is the whole case for it; there is no third argument.
What You Get
Delivered is the front mudguard CARM1010M. Where LighTech packs screws with the part, they are in the box. Documentation for German registration is not part of it — see below.
In the Workshop
Work on a clean, dry surface: carbon sits flush or it does not sit at all. Nothing about this benefits from being done quickly. We can do the fitting and the check over in one appointment.
Paperwork
What comes with it in terms of documentation. LighTech supplies the CARM1010M without a type-approval certificate. For a track-only F3 675 this does not arise.
