DescriptionThe whole story▼
Plated steel on an anodised cockpit looks unfinished, because it is. The LighTech FFC01 is the brake and clutch master cylinder cover, machined from solid Ergal and anodised, 38 g. This listing covers a Brutale 675 across 6 model years (2012 to 2017). 3 anodised colours: Black, Gold, Red.
Key Features
- Listed for the MV Agusta Brutale 675
- 3 colours — Black, Gold, Red
- Sold individually
- Ergal aluminium alloy, anodised
- Machined from solid on CNC machinery
- Covers a Brutale 675 across 6 model years (2012 to 2017)
In the Workshop
Two screws hold the cover; work with the bike upright and the reservoir level. Check the brake works as expected before the first ride, in the yard, not in traffic. Our own workshop takes this kind of job on.
The Last Standard Part
Anodised aluminium holds its colour where plated steel does not. With the FFC01 the pressed cover goes and a machined one takes its place, shaped for this master cylinder rather than for a catalogue. That is the whole case for it; there is no third argument.
What It Fits
The FFC01 is intended for a MV Agusta Brutale 675 from 2012 to 2017. Master cylinders differ between models, and so do their covers. If the master cylinder has been changed, tell us which one is fitted now.
One Thing to Note
One thing about the FFC01 that is easy to miss. The description above is the full scope. What the FFC01 does not include is the reservoir seal. Keep the original one and look at it while you have the cover off. Keep the part number FFC01 for a later reorder.
What You Get
FFC01 is one cover, nothing else. 3 anodised colours are available: Black, Gold, Red. Tools are not part of the delivery.
Before You Ride
The paperwork question, and the safety one. The FFC01 ships without German approval paperwork. A cover that replaces the original like for like is not normally the issue — a leaking one is. Check it before you ride a registered Brutale 675.
