DescriptionThe whole story▼
A cover is a small change with a visible result. The FBC01 takes the place of the standard cover, shaped for this master cylinder. The shape follows the master cylinder, which is why it changes from bike to bike. 2 anodised colours: Black, Red.

What It Fits
The FBC01 is intended for a Honda CB650F from 2014 to 2020. Master cylinders differ between models, and so do their covers. A photo of the reservoir settles the question quickly.
Scope and Conditions
A detail on the FBC01. Everything in the package is named above. This is the cover, not the reservoir and not its seal. Reuse the original gasket or diaphragm unless it is damaged, and check that the cover seats flat before you ride. Note the number FBC01 down; a later reorder is then unambiguous.
At Eye Level
There are two reasons to change a reservoir cover, and only one of them is weight. LighTech states that the shape varies by motorcycle, which is why this cover is listed for this bike and not as a universal lid. What it does not do is change how the brake works.
What Is in the Box
Delivered is the cover FBC01. 2 anodised colours are available: Black, Red. Brake fluid is not included.
In the Workshop
Have the new cover and the screws ready before the old one comes off. Check the brake works as expected before the first ride, in the yard, not in traffic. The alternative is simple: leave it to our mechanics.
Paperwork
This part sits on the brake system, so a word on it. There is no ABE and no parts certificate in the box with the FBC01. For a road-registered CB650F ask your inspection body if you want it in writing.
