DescriptionThe whole story▼
Shortening the tail of a Z125 is the classic first modification. The KTARKA125 includes brackets to adjust where the indicators and the reflector sit. Made in Italy, like the rest of the range.

- A stock LighTech item
- Brackets to adjust the position of the indicators and the reflector
- Plate support sizes by country — A1 is the German format (178 × 178 mm)
- 755 g
- Listed for the Kawasaki Z125
Why a Plate Holder
Nothing lengthens the tail of a Z125 like the factory bracket. LighTech states the KTARKA125 was developed in full compliance with the road code. That is the manufacturer's statement about the Italian road code, not a German approval.
Fitment and Compatibility
Fitment is the Z125 across 2019 to 2025. Two things decide the fit: the model-specific holder and the plate support size — A1 for Germany. The part number KTARKA125 is the binding reference, not the model name.
Choose the Right Plate Support
The KTARKA125 comes with a plate support, and the size matters. The German size is A1, 178 × 178 mm. The other sizes are built for other national plate formats and will not take a German plate properly. Ask us if you are unsure which format applies to you — it takes one message.
In the Workshop
Work with the Z125 on its stand and the seat removed where needed. Use the original cable runs where you can; they are already clear of the wheel. Nothing on the Z125 is altered permanently.
What Is in the Box
What arrives is the part itself. Holder, support, lamp, reflector and fixings — nothing else has to be ordered.
Approval and Road Use
Two of the parts in the KTARKA125 are approved: the plate light and the reflector. The holder itself is not a type-approved component. What LighTech declares about the holder and what a German inspector checks are not the same thing. For a road-registered Z125, have the plate position and angle checked if you are unsure.
