DescriptionThe whole story▼
The rear mudguard assembly of a CBR 1000 RR is designed by regulation, not by eye. The LighTech KTARHO109 is the complete licence plate holder kit: holder, plate light and reflector, both approved, plus the mounting hardware. Made in Italy, like the rest of the range.
Key Features
- A1 to A3 in carbon-PA12 composite, B1 to B3 in aluminium
- Complete kit: holder, plate light and reflector, both approved
- Optional screw kit TAR025 for a coloured washer and fixing screw
- Takes original and aftermarket indicators
- Listed for the Honda CBR 1000 RR
- Plate support sizes by country — A1 is the German format (178 × 178 mm)
Fitment and Compatibility
LighTech lists the KTARHO109 for the Honda CBR 1000 RR. The holder is made for the CBR 1000 RR; the plate support is chosen by country, and A1 is the German format. Have KTARHO109 and the model year to hand and the question is settled in one message.
A1 Is the German Size
Choose the plate support by country, not by looks. Germany, Italy and Slovenia share the A1 support at 178 × 178 mm; the remaining five sizes serve other countries. If you ride the CBR 1000 RR on German plates, A1 is the one to pick.
The Change That Shows Most
Nothing lengthens the tail of a CBR 1000 RR like the factory bracket. The KTARHO109 brings its own mounting hardware and the brackets to position the indicators. A stock item rather than a special order.
Scope of Delivery
One piece per box. Holder, support, lamp, reflector and fixings — nothing else has to be ordered.
Fitting
The KTARHO109 replaces the original plate assembly on the CBR 1000 RR. Route the cables so nothing is pinched when the suspension moves. Check it again after the first ride.
Approval
What is approved in the KTARHO109 is the lighting, not the bracket. What LighTech declares about the holder and what a German inspector checks are not the same thing. Set the plate as close to upright as the holder allows and keep it fully legible.
