DescriptionThe whole story▼
The original plate bracket on a Z900 SE extends further than it needs to. LighTech's TARKA123 is the holder without lamp or reflector. It is the change that most alters the tail of the Z900 SE.
Key Features
- Adjustable holder, supplied without plate light and without reflector
- Covers the Z900 SE across 10 model years (2017 to 2026)
- LighTech part number TARKA123
- A stock LighTech item
- A1 to A3 in carbon-PA12 composite, B1 to B3 in aluminium
- Plate support sizes by country — A1 is the German format (178 × 178 mm)
The Bracket Decides
A plate bracket either follows the line of the bike or fights it. The TARKA123 takes the same plate supports as the kit version. Made in Italy.
Fitting
Work with the Z900 SE on its stand. Seal the connections against water rather than relying on the plug alone. The original parts go back on the Z900 SE at any time.
Fitment and Compatibility
LighTech catalogues the TARKA123 for the Z900 SE (2017 to 2026). The bracket fits the Z900 SE; the support has to match your plate. Have TARKA123 and the model year to hand and the question is settled in one message.
Choose the Right Plate Support
Before ordering the TARKA123, pick the right plate support. A1 covers Germany, Italy and Slovenia at 178 × 178 mm. Everything from A2 onwards is for a different national format. Material follows the size: A is composite, B is aluminium.
Supplied As
LighTech ships the TARKA123 as a single item. This is the holder on its own; the kit version adds the approved lamp and reflector.
Approval
Nothing in the TARKA123 box constitutes a type approval. LighTech states the holder was developed in full compliance with the road code — that is the Italian code and the manufacturer's own wording, not a German approval. Ask before you fit it to a registered Z900 SE.
