DescriptionThe whole story▼
The back of a Ninja 400 is the view other road users actually get. LighTech builds the TAR025 at M8x40 so the plate holder can be finished in the same colour as the rest. Anodising is what keeps the colour on an aluminium screw head. Made in Italy, like the rest of the range.
Key Features
- LighTech asks you to check compatibility with your plate holder model before ordering
- Two flat-head screws and two conical-head washers M8 Ø 8/25
- 25 g
- Ergal 7075, anodised
- A stock LighTech item
- Made in Italy
Why Matching Hardware
Weight saved at thirty screws is weight saved thirty times. With 7 anodised colours in the TAR025, the hardware can follow the holder rather than contradict it. At this price the decision is not a financial one.
Application
The M8x40 length is the fitment question, and the holder answers it. We list it against a Kawasaki Ninja 400 (2017 to 2026) because that is the bike the holder goes on — but the screws have to suit the holder. Tell us your plate holder model and we confirm the right kit before dispatch.
What Is Included
A detail on the TAR025. Nothing in this box carries a number plate on its own. LighTech states it directly: check compatibility with your LighTech plate holder model before purchasing. The TAR025 suits the holders it was made for, not every tail tidy on the market. A stock LighTech item, so a second one is not a special order.
In the Workshop
The TAR025 is a five-minute job at the back of the bike. Work dry and clean — anodised heads mark easily under a slipping tool. Fitting is part of what we do on site.
What You Get
TAR025 covers both plate holder fixing points. Anodised in Black, Blue, Gold, Green, Orange, Red, Silver, 7 options in all. The LighTech instruction sheet is in the box where one is supplied.
Road Approval
On approval documents. No German approval document comes with the TAR025 — no ABE and no Teilegutachten. Clarify it in advance if the Ninja 400 is used on public roads.
