DescriptionThe whole story▼
Reach is the most personal setting on a Panigale 899, and the original levers resist it. LighTech builds the KLEV137H as a kit, so one order covers both bar ends of the Panigale 899. LighTech levers are run by teams in MotoGP, Moto2, Moto3 and WSBK.
Key Features
- Machined from magnesium and aluminium, not cast
- Model H: LighTech's most recent lever geometry
- Reach adjustment on both blades
- Lighter than the original levers of the Panigale 899
- Covers the Panigale 899 across 5 model years (2012 to 2016)
- One order covers both bar ends of the Panigale 899
Reach, Weight, Survival
There are two reasons to change levers, and only one of them is weight. The KLEV137H is Model H: both levers, 470 g, lighter than the parts they replace. Both levers come in one box, so there is no second part number to chase.
Application
The listing is the Panigale 899, model years 2012 to 2016. The KLEV137H uses the original pivot bolts and the original perches of the Panigale 899. Have KLEV137H and the model year to hand and the question is settled in one message.
Both Levers, One Number
Before ordering the KLEV137H, note what is in the box. KLEV137H covers both sides of the Panigale 899; there is no second number to add to the order. Keep the part number KLEV137H — a later single-side order is then unambiguous.
Fitting
No fluid is lost fitting the KLEV137H — both circuits stay closed. Work the levers through their full travel before you trust them on the Panigale 899. Keep the original levers as spares.
Scope of Delivery
What arrives is both blades, their adjusters and the pivot parts. Both sides are covered; there is no second kit to buy.
Approval
The manufacturer's position is that the lever range complies with the relevant road legislation. A declaration is not a certificate, and the KLEV137H ships without one. For a road-registered Panigale 899 in Germany, clarify with your inspection body whether documentation is required.
