DescriptionThe whole story▼
An S1000RR at 999 cc asks a lot of both hands. LighTech's KLEV139H supplies both levers: brake and clutch, Model H, with LighTech's most recent lever geometry. Reach adjustment the original S1000RR levers do not offer.
Key Features
- Machined from magnesium and aluminium, not cast
- No approval paperwork is supplied — see the note below
- KIT: brake AND clutch lever in one part number
- Both levers fold — they give way instead of snapping at the perch
- Lighter than the original levers of the S1000RR
- Listed for the BMW S1000RR
Why a Lever Kit
Reach is personal, and the factory levers of the S1000RR treat it as optional. The KLEV139H carries LighTech's reach adjustment, which the original S1000RR levers do not. LighTech levers are used by teams in MotoGP, Moto2, Moto3 and WSBK.
What Is in the Kit
One thing to be clear about with the KLEV139H. One order, two levers: KLEV139H is not a single blade — the brake and the clutch side come together. Individual levers are also available on their own, should only one side need replacing.
What It Fits
LighTech catalogues the KLEV139H for the S1000RR (2015 to 2026). Check that your S1000RR has the standard master cylinder and clutch perch — aftermarket parts differ. The data comes from LighTech; the final check happens on the motorcycle.
Supplied As
LighTech ships the KLEV139H as a pair, brake and clutch together. Keep the reference — a later single-lever order is then unambiguous.
In the Workshop
Installation needs one hex key and a spanner per side. Grease the pivots before assembly; a dry pivot is a lever that will not fold when it matters. Check the pivots again after the first ride.
What the Manufacturer Declares
LighTech states that its brake and clutch levers are produced in compliance with the highway code and the applicable laws. We do not turn that into an approval claim of our own: the KLEV139H arrives without German paperwork. For a road-registered S1000RR in Germany, clarify with your inspection body whether documentation is required.
