One Electrical Point
LED indicators bring one complication with them. Double-speed flashing after fitting the FRE931NER is not a fault in the part — it is the R7 reporting a lamp it can no longer measure. Ask us whether your R7 is known to need a resistor; we would rather check than guess.
The Cheapest Visible Change
The original indicators are sized for a crash test, not for the look of an R7. At 95 g the FRE931NER adds almost nothing where the original was bulky. E8 is a component approval; where and how they are fitted is a separate question.
