A Cleaner Tail
The back of an RSV4 1100 Factory is where lamp count shows most. At 120 g the FRE938NER removes a separate rear lamp from the tail. Made in Italy.
Rear Use Only
LED indicators bring one complication with them. LighTech states that some motorcycles need a specific relay or resistor. An LED draws too little current for a standard flasher on the RSV4 1100 Factory, which then blinks at double speed. The resistor kits are listed separately — tell us your RSV4 1100 Factory and we will say whether one is needed.
Application
LighTech lists the FRE938NER for the Aprilia RSV4 1100 Factory. The tail and brake light functions are rear functions. The part number FRE938NER is the binding reference, not the model name.

In the Workshop
Work with the ignition off and the battery disconnected. Use the original cable runs where you can; they are already clear of the wheel. Check it again after the first ride.
Approval and Road Use
LighTech has the FRE938NER approved under E8. That covers the part, not the installation. Position, spacing and visibility angles are regulated separately and nationally. If the RSV4 1100 Factory carries a plate, check the mounting position against the national rules.
