DescriptionThe whole story▼
Factory indicators on an RC 125 are sized for a crash test, not for the eye. The LighTech FRE932NER is a pair of aluminium LED indicators, E8 approved, 95 g. LighTech lists it for the RC 125.
Key Features
- LighTech part number FRE932NER
- E8 type approval for the indicator pair
- Machined aluminium housing
- Supplied as a pair
- 95 g
- Listed for the KTM RC 125
The Cheapest Visible Change
The original indicators are sized for a crash test, not for the look of an RC 125. LighTech pairs the FRE932NER with its own plate holders on the RC 125. Made in Italy, like the rest of the range.
Installation
The FRE932NER goes on with the ignition off and the battery disconnected. Test all functions with the ignition on before the first ride. Removal takes as long as fitting did.
Application
The listing is the RC 125, model years 2020 to 2026. It is the mount, not the model, that determines whether it bolts up. Have FRE932NER and the model year to hand and the question is settled in one message.
LEDs and Your Flasher
LighTech says this plainly, and so do we. On many machines the indicator circuit reads the low LED current as a failed bulb and flashes fast. On the RC 125 a load resistor or an LED relay restores normal behaviour. LighTech recommends having the installation done by specialists, and we pass that on rather than play it down.
Scope of Delivery
One pair per order. No brackets are included — on the RC 125 they go onto an existing mount or a LighTech holder.
Approval
E8 approval applies to the FRE932NER itself. The approval travels with the part; whether the fitted position is legal is a separate question. Ask before you fit it to a registered RC 125 if the position is unconventional.
