Clutch feel on an MT-09 is a matter of lever geometry as much as cable or hydraulics. The LEVXF001H is LighTech's Model H clutch lever, machined rather than cast, 260 g. It costs a fraction of the fairing a folding lever saves on an MT-09.

Changing It Over
Changing the LEVXF001H on an MT-09 is a ten-minute job with hand tools. Torque the pivot bolt to the MT-09 figure — overtightening stops the blade folding. Keep the factory lever — it is the roadside spare.

The Clutch Side Deserves the Same
Lever geometry decides how much of the clutch travel is usable on an MT-09. At 260 g the LEVXF001H takes weight off the left bar end of the MT-09. J, K and H differ in finish and geometry; the material is the same.

LighTech's H is a geometry revision, not a finish option. The blade shape differs from the earlier models; the material and the folding mechanism do not. LighTech's other models (the plain black J and the insert-equipped K) differ in finish and shape, not in construction.
