DescriptionThe whole story▼
Lever feel on a Daytona 675 R is what a rider notices in the first hundred metres. That is what the LEVD155K answers: a folding brake lever for the Daytona 675 R with the ALIEN rubber inserts — black as standard, other colours on request. It costs a fraction of the fairing a folding lever saves on a Daytona 675 R.
Key Features
- Developed for the braking loads a Daytona 675 R actually generates
- Sold individually; a matched pair on the Daytona 675 R is two part numbers
- Folding design: the lever gives way instead of snapping at the perch
- The inserts are available in other colours as separate LighTech items
- 100 % Made in Italy, with the tricolour logo on the blade
- No drilling, no cutting, nothing permanent on the Daytona 675 R
Fitting
The LEVD155K goes on with the Daytona 675 R on its stand, engine cold. Torque the pivot bolt to the Daytona 675 R figure — overtightening stops the blade folding. Keep the factory lever — it is the roadside spare.
The Case for Magnesium
Reach is personal, and the factory lever on the Daytona 675 R treats it as optional. The LEVD155K is Model K (ALIEN): foldable, 240 g, and lighter than the part it replaces. Folding is not a convenience feature; it is why the lever survives.
Fitment
Fitment is the Daytona 675 R across 2012 to 2018. It replaces the original lever on the standard perch of the Daytona 675 R — no adapter and no modification.
What You Get
One lever per box for the Daytona 675 R. Grip inserts and spare pivots are listed under their own numbers.
The Three Lever Models
LighTech's K carries rubber where the fingers actually sit. Black rubber inserts come as standard, and LighTech sells them in other colours as separate items if you want to match the Daytona 675 R. LighTech's other models (the plain black J and the newer H geometry) differ in finish and shape, not in construction.
Regulations
Compliance with road legislation is something LighTech states for the whole lever range. It is a manufacturer declaration; there is no ABE and no Teilegutachten in the LEVD155K box. Clarify it in advance if the Daytona 675 R is used on public roads.
