DescriptionThe whole story▼
On a Panigale V4 the distance from lever to grip is the single most personal setting. That is what the LEVS135K answers: a folding brake lever for the Panigale V4 with grip inserts in rubber, customisable through LighTech's colour range. The brake lever is adjustable from the left. Sold individually, so a matched pair on the Panigale V4 is two part numbers.
Key Features
- Sold individually; a matched pair on the Panigale V4 is two part numbers
- It costs less than the bodywork a folding lever protects
- Developed for the braking loads a Panigale V4 actually generates
- 100 % Made in Italy, with the tricolour logo on the blade
- Reach adjustment the original Panigale V4 lever does not offer
- Folding design: the lever gives way instead of snapping at the perch
The Case for Magnesium
The original lever on a Panigale V4 is designed to a cost, not to a hand. Where the original blade transmits a crash into the master cylinder, the LEVS135K folds out of the way. At 260 g the LEVS135K is lighter than the original on the Panigale V4.
What You Get
What arrives is the blade, the adjuster and the pivot parts. A matched pair on the Panigale V4 means ordering both sides.
Fitment
The listing is the Panigale V4, model years 2021 to 2026. Nothing on the Panigale V4 is drilled; the factory lever comes off and this one goes on.
In the Workshop
Fitting the LEVS135K does not disturb the hydraulics of the Panigale V4. Grease the pivot before assembly; a dry pivot is a lever that will not fold when it matters. No bleeding and no adjustment of the master cylinder is involved.
The Three Lever Models
The K exists because a bare aluminium blade is slippery in the wet. The inserts arrive black; a colour change later is an insert order, not a lever order. If this is not the one, the plain black J and the newer H geometry fit the Panigale V4 identically.
What LighTech Declares
LighTech describes this lever range as made in accordance with road traffic regulations. What LighTech declares and what a German inspector needs are not the same document. Clarify it in advance if the Panigale V4 is used on public roads.
