DescriptionThe whole story▼
A rigid brake lever on a Panigale V4 S breaks at the perch the moment the bike goes down. LighTech's LEVS135J is the Model J brake lever — foldable, 260 g, built around a fully black finish throughout. The brake lever is adjustable from the left. It changes the control the rider touches most on the Panigale V4 S.
Key Features
- Folds away on contact, which is what keeps a Panigale V4 S rideable after a drop
- It costs less than the bodywork a folding lever protects
- LighTech part number LEVS135J, listed for the Ducati Panigale V4 S
- Model J is the plainest of the three LighTech lever models
- Machined from magnesium and aluminium, not cast
- A stock LighTech item rather than a special order
What It Fits
The listing is the Panigale V4 S, model years 2021 to 2026. Check that your Panigale V4 S has the standard master cylinder before ordering — aftermarket perches differ.
What Folding Buys You
What ends a track session is rarely the crash — it is the broken lever afterwards. LighTech states the LEVS135J is produced in compliance with the highway code and the applicable laws. The three models — J, K and H — differ in finish and geometry, not in construction.
In the Workshop
The LEVS135J goes on with the Panigale V4 S on its stand, engine cold. Check that the blade folds freely by hand once the bolt is tight. Keep the factory lever — it is the roadside spare.
Supplied As
LighTech ships the LEVS135J individually, not as a left-and-right pair. A matched pair on the Panigale V4 S means ordering both sides.
The Three Lever Models
Nothing on the J blade catches the eye, which on a Panigale V4 S is sometimes the goal. Black throughout, which also means the blade shows wear less than a two-tone lever. If this is not the one, the K with its grip inserts and the H with its revised geometry fit the Panigale V4 S identically.
Approval and Road Use
According to LighTech, the range meets the requirements of the applicable road regulations. We do not turn that into an approval claim of our own: the LEVS135J arrives without German paperwork. Clarify it in advance if the Panigale V4 S is used on public roads.
