DescriptionThe whole story▼
A rigid brake lever on a Panigale 959 breaks at the perch the moment the bike goes down. Enter the LEVD155H: a 240 g folding brake lever for the Panigale 959, Model H, with the revised Model H geometry. The listing covers the Panigale 959 across 6 model years (2016 to 2021).
Key Features
- No drilling, no cutting, nothing permanent on the Panigale 959
- Replaces the factory lever directly on the Panigale 959
- 100 % Made in Italy, with the tricolour logo on the blade
- A stock LighTech item rather than a special order
- The H geometry changes where the blade sits relative to the grip
- LighTech part number LEVD155H, listed for the Ducati Panigale 959
Fitment and Compatibility
LighTech lists the LEVD155H for the Ducati Panigale 959. It replaces the original lever on the standard perch of the Panigale 959 — no adapter and no modification.
In the Workshop
Changing the LEVD155H on a Panigale 959 is a ten-minute job with hand tools. Set the reach before the first ride, not at the first corner. Re-check the pivot bolt after the first ride.
Why This Lever
Magnesium and aluminium are not chosen for the look of them. Where the original blade transmits a crash into the master cylinder, the LEVD155H folds out of the way. The three models — J, K and H — differ in finish and geometry, not in construction.
Choosing a Model
Model H came last and brought a different blade shape with it. The revised geometry changes where the blade sits relative to the grip on the Panigale 959. The other two models in the range — the plain black J and the insert-equipped K — share the same material and the same folding mechanism.
Supplied As
LighTech ships the LEVD155H individually, not as a left-and-right pair. Keep the reference — a second order for the same Panigale 959 is then unambiguous.
Regulations
According to LighTech, the range meets the requirements of the applicable road regulations. We do not turn that into an approval claim of our own: the LEVD155H arrives without German paperwork. For a road-registered Panigale 959 in Germany, clarify with your inspection body whether documentation is required.
