DescriptionThe whole story▼
The screws are the detail that decides whether a bike looks cared for. The LighTech ENGMM002 is the engine bolt kit for a motorcycle — 31 pieces, Ergal 7075, anodised, 50 g. 5 anodised colours to match the rest of the bike. LighTech cuts these to length rather than leaving you to sort through a box.
Key Features
- A stock LighTech item
- Replaces the engine-side fasteners
- Anodised to improve durability, according to LighTech
- 31 pieces in the kit
- Universal item
- 50 g
One Thing to Note
Read this before adding the ENGMM002 to the basket. Nothing is added to the bike — the kit swaps what is already fitted. LighTech states the kit contains 31 pieces — that is the figure for this part number, not for the range. Italian manufacture, like everything else LighTech makes.
Fitment and Compatibility
LighTech lists the ENGMM002 as a universal item. The kit suits the fastener pattern, not a particular bike. If your motorcycle is not on the list, ask us — LighTech covers more vehicles than are listed here.
Thirty Screws, One Colour
Nothing on a bike is seen more often and considered less than its screws. What the ENGMM002 changes on a motorcycle is the one detail visible from every angle — and the weight of every fastener on the engine side. That is the whole case for it; there is no third argument.
What You Get
The scope of the ENGMM002: 31 screws and washers for the engine. Choose from 5 anodised finishes: Black, Blue, Gold, Red, Silver. No approval paperwork is included — see the section below.
In the Workshop
Lay the 31 pieces out before you start; a screw kit is easier to fit than to sort. Work dry and clean — anodised heads mark easily under a slipping tool. We can do the fitting and the check over in one appointment.
Paperwork
What comes with it in terms of documentation. No German approval document comes with the ENGMM002 — no ABE and no Teilegutachten. For a road-registered motorcycle ask your inspection body if you want it in writing.
