DescriptionThe whole story▼
Engine covers come off more often than anything else on a HYPERMOTARD 821. LighTech's 3DHM replaces the engine fasteners of a HYPERMOTARD 821 with 44 pieces in anodised Ergal 7075. Ergal 7075 is the alloy LighTech uses throughout its screw kits. LighTech cuts these to length rather than leaving you to sort through a box.

Why a Screw Kit
Nothing on a bike is seen more often and considered less than its screws. The 3DHM is a set, not a selection: every screw has its place on the engine of a HYPERMOTARD 821. The rest is a matter of taste, and that is what the colour range is for.
Application
LighTech lists the 3DHM for a Ducati HYPERMOTARD 821, model years 2013 to 2016. The fastener pattern was unchanged across 4 model years, so one part number covers them all. A chassis number settles any doubt about the year faster than a table.
Mounting It
Fitting the 3DHM is an afternoon of hand tools, not a workshop job. Aluminium fasteners want a torque wrench, not a long lever. Ask us if you would rather have it fitted than fit it.
What Is Included
One thing about the 3DHM that is easy to miss. The kit substitutes the factory fasteners and nothing beyond them. LighTech states the kit contains 44 pieces — that is the figure for this part number, not for the range. Made in Italy, like the rest of the range.
What Is in the Box
3DHM covers the engine fasteners, 44 pieces. The kit comes in 5 colours — Black, Blue, Gold, Red, Silver. Tools are not part of the delivery.
Paperwork
A word on paperwork. We make no approval claim for the 3DHM: it arrives without German documentation. Clarify it in advance if the HYPERMOTARD 821 is used on public roads.
