DescriptionThe whole story▼
A clip-on is a geometry decision disguised as a spare part. The LighTech CLP500025 is a pair of clip-on clamps: 50 mm fork diameter, 25 mm offset, height ±0 mm, 7° inclination, 320 g. The 50 mm figure is the fork diameter — that is what has to match, not the handlebar. It is a stock LighTech item.
Key Features
- Fork diameter 50 mm — the fork has to match
- Offset +25 mm
- Sold as a pair
- Height ±0 mm
- Tubes are separate items
- New design and geometry compared with the previous model
One Thing to Note
What the CLP500025 does and does not include. It is supplied as described above and nothing further. The tubes are not included. LighTech requires the CLP500025 to be ordered together with HBT001NER (260 mm) or HBT012NER (275 mm). Note the number CLP500025 down; a later reorder is then unambiguous.
Application
This listing covers an Yamaha R6 (2006 to 2026). The fork diameter is the figure to verify: 50 mm. If your R6 runs a different fork, this is the wrong part number. We check this before the parcel leaves if you tell us the bike.
Why Clip-Ons
Everything you feel through the bars arrives there from somewhere else. The CLP500025 turns riding position into a specification: 50 mm fork diameter, 25 mm offset, height ±0 mm, 7° inclination. Nothing is guessed and nothing is adjustable afterwards. Nothing here needs to be taken on trust: the numbers are LighTech's own.
What Is in the Box
CLP500025 covers both fork legs — clamps only. The finish is Black. Fasteners are included where LighTech supplies them.
In the Workshop
Controls, cables and brake lines have to follow the new position — check the full steering lock before riding. Observe LighTech's torque figures — machined aluminium does not forgive an overtightened thread. We can do the fitting and the check ride in one appointment.
Approval
On a registered bike the handlebar is part of what was type-approved. Whatever the part does, the CLP500025 comes with no German approval document. On a registered R6 the inspector decides, and a phone call in advance is cheaper than a failed inspection.
