DescriptionThe whole story▼
Everything else on the cockpit can be machined, and then there is the reservoir. Here is the FBC33: an anodised cover for the brake fluid reservoir. Made in Italy, like the rest of the range. LighTech lists it for a Panigale 959.
Key Features
- Made in Italy
- A stock LighTech item
- Listed for the Ducati Panigale 959
- One cover per order
- Weight 43 g
- Covers a Panigale 959 across 5 model years (2016 to 2020)
At Eye Level
Everything visible on a handlebar has been chosen except this. The FBC33 is a small, visible part; the specification is what you see above. At this price the decision is not a financial one.
Mounting It
Two screws hold the cover; work with the bike upright and the reservoir level. Keep brake fluid off painted and anodised surfaces; it damages both. Fitting is part of what we do on site.
Application
The FBC33 is intended for a Ducati Panigale 959 from 2016 to 2020. LighTech states that the cover shape follows the master cylinder, which is why it is listed per bike and not as a universal lid. If your Panigale 959 is not on the list, ask us — LighTech covers more vehicles than are listed here.
Scope and Conditions
What the FBC33 does and does not include. It is one cover, supplied on its own. What the FBC33 does not include is the reservoir seal. Keep the original one and look at it while you have the cover off. For this part number the manufacturer gives no material or process details, and we do not invent them. One question before ordering is cheaper than one return afterwards.
Scope of Delivery
The scope of the FBC33: the cover itself. 6 anodised colours are available: Black, Blue, Green, Grey, Orange, Red. You supply the tools; the part comes as described.
Paperwork
What comes with it in terms of documentation. The FBC33 ships without German approval paperwork. The brake has to work and the reservoir has to seal; that matters more than the paperwork.
