DescriptionThe whole story▼
On a motorcycle the bar ends sit in plain sight and in the way of the asphalt. LighTech lists the KTM430 in its 400 series. Made in Italy, like the rest of the range. LighTech designs the series to reduce handlebar vibration.
Key Features
- A stock LighTech item
- Metal and aluminium construction
- 270 g
- The coloured part CAP001 is NOT included and is ordered separately, sold in pairs
- Designed to reduce handlebar vibration
- LighTech part number KTM430
Vibration and Looks
Machined and anodised is a different category of part from moulded and painted. With the 400 series a motorcycle gets metal and aluminium instead of a plastic cap — and the colour is a decision you make with CAP001, which is not in this box. Beyond that there is nothing to claim for it.
What It Fits
The KTM430 is not tied to one model. The bike underneath makes no difference to the fit. We check this before the parcel leaves if you tell us the bike.
Scope and Conditions
One point before you order the KTM430. No part of the description is optional equipment. The coloured part is not included. LighTech requires the part CAP001 to be ordered separately, sold in pairs, for the KTM430 to be fitted to the handlebar. One question before ordering is cheaper than one return afterwards.
Installation
Fitting the KTM430 needs no fluids drained and no cables disturbed. Work dry and clean: anodised surfaces mark easily during fitting. We can do the fitting and the check ride in one appointment.
Supplied As
Delivered are both bar end bodies, KTM430; the colour comes from CAP001. The finish is Black. Documentation for German registration is not part of it — see below.
Approval and Road Use
A word on paperwork. The KTM430 ships without German approval paperwork of any kind. For a road-registered motorcycle ask your inspection body if you want it in writing.
