DescriptionThe whole story▼
The Vizion 3.5 Roll-Off in orange comes ready for the muddiest rounds of the season. A Roll-Off system is already fitted, and the 90% clear lens matches the dark, wet days when roll-offs earn their keep.
Key Features
- Integrated Vizion 45 mm Roll-Off system plus tear-off posts
- Mud exits via the self-draining edge
- Shipped in plastic-free packaging
- Scratch-resistant hard coat plus anti-fog on the clear lens
- Single-compound Vizion 3.5 Roll-Off frame built around outriggers
- 45 mm strap with 5 mm anti-slip silicone band
How It Sits
Strap tension reaches the frame through outriggers, and the frame itself is a single-compound part, which together help it seat in most helmet openings. To stop the band wandering on the shell, the 45 mm strap is lined with a 5 mm anti-slip silicone band. Mud that gets in tends to collect at the bottom, which is why the lower edge of the Vizion 3.5 Roll-Off is shaped to drain itself.
When It Gets Muddy
Tear-off posts are already on the frame, so a stack of tear-offs can go on as soon as the race day starts. The Vizion 45 mm Roll-Off system is built into the frame, pulling fresh film across the lens to keep your view clear when conditions are at their worst. Certification: CE to EN 1938:2010, plus compliance with the EU PPE Regulation 2016/425.
Face Foam and Glasses Wearers
Leatt lines the Orange frame with triple-layer, dual-density face foam and adds an anti-sweat fleece backing. Glasses wearers are covered by the OTG fit, which lets the goggle sit over a regular pair of frames.
Vision on Track
Clear at 90% is the tint for low light: dull weather, tree cover or the last laps before dusk. Scratch resistance comes from the hard coating, and an anti-fog finish deals with the moisture your breath and body heat put behind the clear lens. Leatt sells additional Vizion lenses individually, with light transmission anywhere from 22 to 90%.
What you should know
Because it passes 90% of the light, the clear lens gives little relief in full sun. A roll-off only keeps working while there is film in the canisters, so keep spare film to hand for race weekends; tear-off films are a separate purchase too.
Colour
Orange makes the goggle easy to find in a muddy pit and easy to match with orange bikes and kit. Underneath the mud it stays bright and cheerful.
