All-black frame, silver mirror lens, 35% light transmission: the plainest version of the Vizion 3.5 Iriz and arguably the most versatile when it comes to kit. It is set up for sunny riding, where the mirror coating takes the harshness out of bright ground.

Clear View in Mud
Tear-off posts are already on the frame, so a stack of tear-offs can go on as soon as the race day starts. An optional Vizion 45 mm Roll-Off system fits this goggle, a sensible add-on for muddy races. EN 1938:2010 is the standard this goggle is CE certified to, and it meets PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425.
Optics
The 35% VLT of the silver lens generally puts it in the bright-light category. A mirror coating, called Iriz by Leatt, sits on the outer face and takes the edge off strong sunlight by blocking more of it. Leatt hard-coats this lens against scratches and adds an anti-fog layer, so the view through the Black frame stays usable after roost and on cold starts. For a second lens, look to the separately available Vizion range with 22 to 90% VLT.
Face Foam and Glasses Wearers
Your face rests on triple-layer comfort foam of dual density, topped with fleece designed to soak up sweat. An over-the-glasses fit is part of the design, so prescription eyewear can stay on underneath.
Chassis and Strap
Leatt builds the Black frame from one compound and mounts the strap on outriggers, a layout aimed at fitting many helmets without gaps at the sides. Leatt fits a 45 mm strap with a 5 mm silicone band, a combination meant to stay put when the track gets rough. Dirt that slips behind the lens can escape through the self-draining lower rim.
What you should know
Under heavy tree cover the 35% Iriz lens lets in too little light for comfortable reading of the ground. Plan on buying tear-offs separately, and add the optional Roll-Off system only if you need it.
Colour
Black goes with everything and hides dirt and wear better than any other frame colour. The silver mirror adds a clean, technical contrast. On hot, sunny days a dark frame does warm up more in direct sun.
