DescriptionThe whole story▼
Matcha Green with a grey 50% lens is the in-between Vizion 3.5: darker than clear, lighter than the mirror versions. That makes it a fit for days that switch between sun and cloud, or for tracks that alternate between open sections and tree cover.
Key Features
- Takes tear-offs or an optional 45 mm Roll-Off
- CE-certified to EN 1938:2010
- Lower frame edge drains mud and grit
- Plastic-free box
- Grey lens with hard coat and fog protection
- Single-compound frame with outriggers for wide helmet compatibility
Seeing Clearly
A grey lens at 50% VLT sits in the middle of the range: it takes the sting out of sunshine yet still leaves enough light for changing conditions. A hard coat on the outer face of the Vizion 3.5 lens resists scratching, while the anti-fog treatment works against misting when you stop on a climb. Should the light change, separate Vizion lenses between 22 and 90% VLT let you adapt the Matcha Green goggle.
Fit with Your Helmet
Leatt builds the Matcha Green frame from one compound and mounts the strap on outriggers, a layout aimed at fitting many helmets without gaps at the sides. On the back of the 45 mm strap runs a 5 mm silicone strip that keeps the band anchored to the helmet. Dust and mud are helped back out by the lower edge, which Leatt designs to drain on its own.
Clear View in Mud
With posts on both sides, the goggle takes tear-off films for a fast clean view mid-moto. If you prefer roll-offs, the goggle is prepared for the Vizion 45 mm system as an optional extra. EN 1938:2010 is the standard this goggle is CE certified to, and it meets PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425.
Wearing Comfort
The Vizion 3.5 uses three foam layers of dual density, and the fleece backing is there to deal with sweat before it runs into your eyes. Leatt designs this frame to fit over glasses, so you do not have to switch to contacts for a ride.
What you should know
The 50% grey lens is a middle tint: it is not mirrored, so it does nothing special against glare, and in dark woods or at dusk it can feel too dim. Budget for consumables: tear-offs are sold separately, as is the optional Vizion Roll-Off kit.
Colour
A muted, earthy green inspired by the tea of the same name. It looks calm next to bright race kit and suits olive, khaki or black setups. It hides dust better than a vivid green.
