DescriptionThe whole story▼
The Vizion 2.5s is the small version of Leatt's Vizion 2.5, with a frame Leatt describes as ideal for junior riders. In plain black with a clear lens rated at 90% VLT, it is the no-nonsense starting point for a young rider's first proper goggle, or a spare for the gear bag.
Everything that matters on the 2.5 carries over to the small frame: anti-fog and anti-scratch coatings on the lens, a silicone-lined strap, dual-layer foam and room for glasses.
Key Features
- Small frame designed for junior riders
- Black colourway, clear 90% VLT lens
- Lens certified to CE EN 1938:2010
- Anti-fog inner coating, hard outer coating
- OTG fit for prescription glasses
- Tear-off posts fitted
Sized for young riders
Junior helmets have smaller eye ports, and an adult goggle often overhangs them or leaves gaps. The 2.5s frame is scaled down for that, built as one compound without outriggers, so the strap runs straight around the shell. The 40 mm strap has a 3 mm silicone band for grip.
Clear lens, honest use
With 90% VLT the clear lens suits training under clouds, in woods and late in the day. The coatings help against fog when a young rider stops and breathes hard, and against scratches from roost. Leatt offers other Vizion lenses for brighter conditions.
Comfort
Dual-layer foam with an anti-sweat fleece backing keeps the goggle comfortable and moisture away from the eyes during long sessions.
What you should know
The 2.5s is the small size; older teens or adults with larger helmets are usually better served by the regular Vizion 2.5. A clear lens is too bright for strong sun. Tear-offs and the optional 45 mm roll-off system are sold separately.
Colour
Black goes with every youth kit, every bike colour and every helmet design a young rider might grow into. It is also the colour that hides track dirt best between washes.
