DescriptionThe whole story▼
Ruby Red is richer and deeper than a plain red, and on the Vizion 2.5 it frames a clear lens with 90% VLT. That makes this a goggle with a strong look for the low-light side of riding: overcast motos, forest trails, winter Sundays.
Leatt designed the Vizion 2.5 for smaller helmets, giving it a compact, single-compound frame that sits neatly in narrower eye ports.
Key Features
- Deep Ruby Red frame with a clear lens
- Lets through 90% of light, ideal for dull conditions
- Anti-fog inside, hard anti-scratch coating outside
- Compact frame for smaller helmets, no outriggers
- Silicone-backed 40 mm strap
- OTG design for riders with glasses
Prescription glasses
The OTG design is a genuine plus for anyone who needs correction: the frame leaves space for most glasses, so you keep sharp vision without wearing contact lenses on the bike.
Keeping the lens clear
An anti-fog coating sits on the inner lens surface and a hard coat on the outer. Posts for tear-offs are fitted, and Leatt lists compatibility with its optional 45 mm roll-off system for wet races. Leatt certifies the lens to CE EN 1938:2010.
Strap and foam
The 40 mm strap with a 3 mm silicone band holds firmly on the helmet. On the inside, two layers of foam with an anti-sweat fleece backing cushion the face and manage moisture.
What you should know
For direct sun the clear 90% lens is too bright; Leatt sells other Vizion lenses for that. Tear-offs and roll-off are sold separately. Ruby Red is a strong colour, and like all light-catching frames it will show mud and dust after a ride.
Colour
Ruby Red has a warm, slightly darker tone than a classic racing red, with red and white details on the strap. It matches red bikes and black, white or red kit, and gives a smart, confident finish to a plain helmet.
