DescriptionThe whole story▼
The MultiTour 5.5 pant is designed for riding in changing weather. It can be worn two ways: with the zipped-in HydraDri EVO waterproof liner when rain is likely, or without it for maximum airflow on warm, dry days. Leatt combines this with a durable RipStop shell, Level 2 armour and Class AA certification. The Stealth Black/Grey version comes in sizes S to 4XL.
Key Features
- Two-way construction with removable HydraDri EVO liner, 20,000 mm / 20,000 g/m²
- Leatt RipStop main shell, reinforced in critical impact zones
- Class AA tested and certified to EN 17092-3:2020
- 3DF hip protectors to EN 1621-1 Level 2 and height-adjustable Level 2 knee guards
- Ventilation zips on the front and back of the legs
- Waterproof thigh cargo pockets and zipped hand-warmers
- Ratchet waist belt with two snap base positions
Two Ways to Ride
The waterproof liner is zipped into the pant, which gives a smooth entry when you pull it on. With the liner fitted, HydraDri EVO keeps rain out while letting moisture escape. Take it out and the shell, together with its leg vents, becomes a lighter, airier pant for summer stretches.
Airflow Control
Ventilation zips sit on both the front and the back of the legs, so you can create a flow of air through the pant at speed and close them again when it cools down. This works best with the liner removed but also helps release heat when it is in place.
Armour and Durability
Hips are protected by 3DF pads to EN 1621-1 Level 2. The knee guards, also Level 2, are adjustable in height so they fit taller and shorter riders. Reinforcements cover the critical impact zones, leather on the inner knees adds grip and wear resistance, and heat-resistant panels shield the inside of both lower legs.
Fit
An integrated belt with a ratchet system closes the front; two snap base positions set the starting width before the ratchet takes over. Stretch areas at the knee, crotch and back yoke give freedom of movement. A large hook-and-loop adjuster at the lower leg opens up for wider adventure or motocross boots, and smooth material inside the boot area prevents snagging. A long connection zip links the pant to Leatt jackets.
Pockets and Visibility
Large waterproof pockets on the upper legs keep documents and a phone dry, and zipped hand-warmer pockets are handy at fuel stops. Reflective detailing improves visibility in low light, and the main zips are YKK.
Sizing
Leatt lists a US waist size in inches next to each letter size, from 30 for S to 42 for 4XL, along with the EU equivalent.
What you should know
The membrane is a separate liner, not part of the outer fabric, so it must be zipped in before you set off into rain. There is no thermal liner in the MultiTour 5.5 pant. It weighs about 2,400 g. Leatt includes a 5-year warranty and ships in plastic-free packaging.
Colour
Stealth Black/Grey keeps the pant black from belt to cuff. The sandy tan leather on the inside of the knees is the main visible contrast, joined by grey reflective detailing at the rear. Dark fabric hides grease from chains and footpegs and pairs with any MultiTour jacket colour.
