DescriptionThe whole story▼
Slate-grey front panels with a black yoke and a red Leatt logo give this Moto 6.5 HydraDri Jacket a rally-team look. It is meant for multi-day enduro and rally use, where rain, river crossings and long transfer stages come in the same week, and where a jacket has to carry water, tools and documents as well as keep you dry.
Leatt's answer is a waterproof 3-layer HydraDri Max shell with a longer front, cut-resistant overlays and an integrated hydration setup. The grey colourway comes in sizes S to XXL.
Key Features
- Grey and black design with red Leatt branding
- HydraDri Max 3-layer laminate, 30,000 mm waterproof rating per Leatt
- Fully taped seams and C0 80/20 eco DWR
- Extended front for standing-position coverage
- Shoulder, elbow and seat overlays that resist abrasion and cuts
- Horizontal bladder pocket and suspender harness built in
- Four-point harness for attaching accessories
- Airbag space without upsizing, plus Neck Brace compatibility
Rally-Ready Storage
Storage is where the 6.5 HydraDri stands apart from simpler enduro jackets. There are six pockets on the outside and four waterproof pockets inside, enough to separate tools, documents and electronics. In the back, the Mission Pack layout gives an upper compartment for a horizontal water bladder and a lower pocket for quick access, with an internal suspender harness taking the weight to your waist. A 4-point harness system lets you fix extra kit.
Shell and Reinforcement
The face fabric stretches in four directions and is made of 80% polyester, 18% nylon and 2% elastane. Leatt places Deflexion panels on the shoulders, elbows and seat, the areas that scrape against branches, rocks and the bike. Hypalon is used for trims and the hanging loop.
Staying Dry
Behind the shell sits the HydraDri Max 3-layer membrane, rated by Leatt at 30,000 mm waterproof and 30,000 g/m² breathable. Every seam is taped, and the outer DWR treatment meets the C0 80/20 eco standard so rain beads off the surface.
Venting the Heat
Two chest vents and two forearm vents can be opened on the move, and a large vent across the rear yoke works even with a backpack. On long climbs this is what keeps a membrane jacket usable.
What you should know
No armour comes with the jacket and Leatt does not give it an EN 17092 rating, so you will need a body protector or an airbag vest underneath; expansion zones, side adjusters and a floating liner are there so an airbag fits in your usual size. Grey is offered in S to XXL only, while black extends to 5XL. Leatt gives the weight as 1,200 g.
Colour
The grey version pairs a blue-toned slate grey on the lower front and the cargo pockets with black on the yoke, sleeves, collar and back. A red Leatt logo sits on the chest and in the middle of the back, with red accents on the sleeves. The lighter grey front stands out more than all-black in dull forest light and shows dust less than pale colours, though mud stains will be visible on the grey panels.
