DescriptionThe whole story▼
Blue/Red is the classic race colour combination on the Leatt Moto 5.5 UltraWeld Jersey: a royal-blue body with red and navy sleeves. Under the graphics sits Leatt's ultra-light race construction with 4-way stretch, laser-cut vents and Brush Guard reinforcement at the elbows.
It is part of Leatt's carry-over range for 2026–2027.
Key Features
- Leatt's lightweight premium race jersey
- Moisture-wicking polyester stretch with nylon mesh zones
- Streamlined profile for reduced drag
- Brush Guard resists snagging, tearing and abrasion
- Silicone grip keeps the jersey in the pants
- Neck brace optimised collar
Abrasion Resistance
To make a light jersey last longer, Leatt places Brush Guard film on both elbows. The material is flexible and abrasion-resistant and is meant to cope with roost and branch strikes without snagging or tearing. Durability is concentrated where it matters rather than adding weight everywhere.
Cooling
Leatt uses laser-cut perforations instead of relying on fabric alone, and adds breathable mesh panels in the ventilation zones. The aim is constant airflow during intense riding, combined with the moisture-wicking stretch fabric that moves sweat away from the skin.
Lightweight Build
Maximum flexibility at minimal weight is the brief for the fabric. Leatt combines a moisture-wicking polyester stretch (85%) with nylon mesh zones (10%) and elastane (5%), and the result is an ultra-light 4-way stretch jersey with a listed weight of about 260 g.
Neck Brace & Finish
Comfort comes from the edges: smooth welded finishes at wrists and waist, a collar optimised for Leatt neck brace users that also feels right without a brace, and silicone at the rear hem that keeps the jersey from creeping up out of the pants.
Cut
Leatt describes the fit as tight and athletic, with a streamlined profile that cuts drag. Even so, the jersey is designed to be worn with or without body armour. You can choose from sizes S to XXL in this colour; the size guide shows the US and EU references printed on Leatt's labels.
What you should know
A few honest points: there is no padding or CE rating, the ventilated fabric lets water through, and the race fit leaves less room than relaxed jerseys such as Leatt's 4.5 series. The jersey comes on its own, so pants, gloves and protection are separate purchases.
Colour
The front shows a large white Leatt logo on a red chest band, with royal and navy blue on the torso and white chevrons below the logo. The sleeves and the lower hem fade into red, and the back is mostly blue with a red fade at the bottom edge. Blue and red are a strong, traditional pairing that matches many bike colours and kits.
