This is the carry-over design for 2026–2027, offered here up to size 3XL.

Fabric & Construction
Leatt builds this UltraWeld from an ultra-light 4-way stretch fabric that moves with the body in every direction. The composition is 85% polyester with moisture-wicking stretch properties, 10% nylon in the mesh ventilation zones and 5% elastane for elasticity. Leatt lists the weight at around 260 g.
Ventilation
Laser-cut perforations work together with ventilated mesh panels to keep air moving through the jersey. Leatt designed the layout for intense riding conditions, when constant airflow helps you stay cooler for longer.
Comfort Details
Welded seams at the cuffs and hem replace conventional stitching, which removes a common source of irritation. The collar is optimised for use with or without a Leatt neck brace. At the back, a silicone hem grip prevents the jersey from riding up inside the pants.
Durability
Elbows take the most punishment on a jersey, from roost, branches and contact with the bike. Leatt reinforces them with Brush Guard, a flexible, abrasion-resistant film that resists snagging and tearing. It adds durability exactly where a lightweight race fabric would otherwise be most vulnerable.
Race Fit
The cut is tight and athletic, described by Leatt as a second-skin fit for high-speed riding. The streamlined profile reduces drag and gives the pro-level feel racers look for. It can still be worn with or without body armour. This colour is available in sizes S to 3XL; the US and EU references from Leatt's size labels are listed below.
What you should know
The Moto 5.5 UltraWeld is a lightweight race jersey with no impact protection and no EN 17092 classification. With perforations and mesh zones it is not waterproof. This is the previous-season design, carried over in the 2026–2027 range; its tight fit is intentional, so if you wear thick body armour underneath, try the combination first.
Colour
Black is the base for body and sleeves, with tonal grey Leatt logos that are barely visible from a distance. The laser-cut perforation pattern on the back shows as a subtle texture. It is the most understated option and the easiest to combine. On sunny days a black jersey absorbs more heat than a light one, which the mesh zones and perforations help counter.
