Bright orange panels on a black base make this version of the Leatt Moto 4.5 Enduro Jacket easy to pick out in a forest section or on a start line. Underneath the colour sits the same competition design: a short front that frees up your hips in the riding position, stretch ripstop that blocks the wind, and storage planned around long enduro days.
It is a jacket for riders who race or ride hard on trails and want one layer that adapts. The sleeves zip off, the rear holds a hydration bladder, and Leatt cut it to fit over an airbag without changing size.

Fit and Freedom of Movement
The shortened front length is the defining part of the 4.5 Enduro cut. It keeps fabric from bunching when you stand, and the stretch panels let your shoulders and elbows reach without pulling the jacket up. Sizes in Hatchet Orange run from S to XXL.
Storage and Hydration
Leatt calls the rear layout the Mission Pack. Its upper compartment takes a horizontally mounted water bladder, while the lower one is a pocket you can reach quickly. A suspender harness inside spreads the bladder load and holds it around your waist instead of dragging on your neck. Up front and inside you get three outer pockets, one of them waterproof, and four inner pockets, partly on the floating liner.
Weather Behaviour
The ripstop shell blocks wind and carries a C0 80/20 eco DWR finish that makes water and dirt bead off. All seams are taped. For airflow, perforations are laser-cut under storm flaps, and a large yoke vent across the shoulders stays usable with a backpack, according to Leatt.
Protection Setup
There is no armour inside the jacket. What Leatt provides is space: dedicated airbag expansion zones, side adjusters and the floating liner let an airbag vest deploy beneath the shell. The collar area is designed to work with a Leatt Neck Brace.
What you should know
Without a membrane, the 4.5 Enduro is water-resistant rather than waterproof, so it copes with showers and puddle spray but is not a rain jacket. No EN 17092 class is listed, which means protection has to come from a body protector or airbag worn underneath. The Hatchet Orange colour stops at XXL, while the black version goes up to 4XL. The 900 g weight is Leatt's figure.
Colour
Hatchet Orange combines a black yoke, collar and lower front with vivid orange sleeves, chest band and back. The orange areas carry a fine diagonal stripe pattern in a slightly darker tone. The bright colour adds visibility to other riders and to spectators, and it matches orange bikes well; dust and mud will show more readily than on the black version, so expect to wash it more often.
