DescriptionThe whole story▼
White with bronze details and a black shin top, the Leatt Moto 4.5 White is the most eye-catching version of the earlier 4.5 motocross boot. It pairs a comfortable fit for many foot shapes with a quick, secure closure and a sole that works for both arch and toe riders.
The boot is CE certified to EN 13634:2017, and in this colour it comes in a wider size range than the Black and Orange versions, from EU 40.5 to EU 48.
Key Features
- White shell with bronze logos and a black upper shin panel
- Sizes from EU 40.5 to EU 48 with foot lengths in the size guide
- SlideLock auto-locking closure at the top of the shaft
- Polymer composite buckles with Over-lock and stainless-steel base
- Heel grip ankle design for stability on the pegs
- Steel-shank reinforced DualZone sole
- Breathable 3D mesh liner with anti-slip heel
Closure
With SlideLock, the top of the shaft is sealed in one sliding movement and locks itself; there is no strap to thread. Further down, polymer composite buckles with Over-lock safety on stainless-steel bases close the shell. They adjust in seconds, and each one carries Leatt's Over-lock safety latch.
Fit
Leatt shapes the 4.5 for a snug hold across many foot shapes, wide feet included, and the size guide below lists the foot length for every EU size so you can measure before ordering. The 3D mesh liner is breathable, and an anti-slip reinforcement at the heel prevents heel lift, so the foot stays in place when you stand.
Bike control
A flat inner profile with grippy TPU improves feel against the frame and lets you steer with your knees and calves. The low-profile toe box makes gear changes easy, and the heel grip ankle design adds stability when riding on your toes.
Sole
The DualZone hardness sole is built for grip and durability on different surfaces, and its two hardness zones are part of what Leatt uses to balance feel and wear. Its extended footpeg zone supports arch and toe riding, and a steel shank inside adds stability when you load the pegs on landings or in rough sections.
Materials and care
TPU makes up most of the outer, with synthetic leather, rubber, nylon, TPR and POM parts and a little steel. White plastic is easy to clean but shows every mark: rinse the boots after riding, brush the white panels and let them dry slowly at room temperature with the buckles open.
What you should know
This is the earlier 4.5 design, not the new 4.5 Evo, which is listed separately. There is no waterproof membrane, so it is not a boot for wet-weather touring or long river crossings. White and bronze show dirt quickly, and frequent cleaning is part of owning them. The boot contains non-textile parts of animal origin. Leatt gives a weight of 4,100 g for the model.
Colour
The shell, buckles and lower panels are white. The upper shin section, the collar and the rear grip panel are black, and the Leatt logos, the 4.5 marking and the top buckle are finished in bronze. A red lining shows at the collar, and the sole is black in the centre with white edges. It is a premium-looking combination that stands apart from the usual black and white boots.
The bronze accents pick up well with black, white or earthy kit colours, and the black shin top breaks up the white so the boot does not look plain. Expect the white lower panels to show frame rub on the inside over time, which is normal on any white motocross boot.
