Stripes Red is the most traditional colour of the new Leatt Moto 3.5 Ride Kit, and it pairs naturally with red bikes. The set includes jersey and pants in sizes XS to 3XL.
Leatt keeps the jersey light at 240 g in size L, while the 900 g pants carry the hard-wearing parts: multi-layer inner knees, heat-resistant leather on the right, multi-row stitching and a PFAS (PFC)-free DWR C0 finish.
It is aimed at riders who spend many hours on the bike and want one complete kit that is comfortable from the first lap to the last.

Pants construction
Pre-shaped legs mirror the riding stance, and knitted stretch inserts add give where the body bends and let some air through. Two-way stretch of roughly 30%, as Leatt states, adds to the freedom of movement in the legs. Behind the outer shell there is a mesh lining, and the fly uses a YKK zip.
The jersey
Ventilation starts with the fabric itself: the jersey of the Moto 3.5 Ride Kit is a 3D stretch mesh whose air channels help keep the body cooler. Neck brace users get a collar that stays out of the way, since its low profile is intended for brace and non-brace riding alike. Graphics go on by digital printing with fade resistance, and overlock seams keep chafing to a minimum on longer days.
Fit with and without armour
The jersey follows a classic fit that Leatt tailored for riding with or without body protection underneath. Around the waist, silicone grip runs a full 360°, and a micro adjuster lets the size be dialled in without a belt.
Material and finish
The material breakdown reads 95% polyester, 4% elastane and 1% genuine leather, with the jersey itself in 100% polyester. A DWR C0 treatment, free of PFAS (PFC), repels dirt and water from the fabric; Leatt also lists OekoTex, REACH testing and plastic-free packaging.
Where the kit takes the wear
The right inner knee carries a heat-resistant leather patch on top of a multi-layer build, and a padded knee construction adds comfort. Durability comes from two measures: added reinforcement in critical zones and panel seams stitched in multiple rows.
What you should know
Please do not mistake the padded knee for armour: the kit has no certified protectors, and Leatt names no protection class for it. In a downpour the DWR C0 finish reaches its limit, because the kit has no waterproof membrane. The range is XS–3XL, and since the jersey and pants share a size, measure carefully before choosing.
Colour
In Stripes Red the jersey is bright red with a black shoulder and upper back area, and a band of blue and red stripes runs across the chest beneath the Leatt logo. Blue stripes return at the cuffs. The red pants switch to black around the knee and lower leg, with blue stripes on the calf. On a red bike the kit blends into one colour block.
