DescriptionThe whole story▼
Bright orange makes the Leatt Moto 2.5 X-Flow Junior Glove a good match for young riders on orange machines, and it keeps small hands easy to see. Inside the colour is the same airy mesh glove with a NanoGrip palm.
Off-road young riders who prefer cool, dry hands are the target here. Everything about the Moto 2.5 X-Flow Junior is kept light: a ventilated back, stretch finger sides and a pre-curved palm without seams.
Key Features
- Ventilated X-Flow upper that keeps air moving over the hand
- NanoGrip palm that holds on whether the grips are wet or dry
- Close-fitting FormFit fingers with stretch mesh sides
- Seamless, pre-curved palm construction
- Hook-and-loop wrist strap and touchscreen-capable fingertips
- Supplied in plastic-free packaging
A kids' version of the X-Flow
Leatt developed this model specifically as a junior glove, with the same vented mesh, NanoGrip palm and FormFit fingers as the adult 2.5 X-Flow. The size run stops at L, and a well-fitting glove whose fingers are not too long gives children the best feel on the bar.
Fit
The fit is deliberately snug. The glove is pre-curved to match a hand holding the bar, the palm has no seams, and the FormFit finger sides stretch to follow the shape of the fingers. At the wrist, an adjustable hook-and-loop closure secures it.
Contact with the bar
The palm is where this glove earns its place. NanoGrip, the ultra-thin palm material from Leatt, delivers what the brand calls superb bike feel, and it is specified for grip in wet as well as dry riding.
Climate on the bike
Airflow comes from the construction rather than from added vents. The back of the hand is X-Flow mesh throughout, and the FormFit finger sides use a stretch mesh as well, so the breathable surface continues right down the fingers.
What you should know
Anyone looking for armour should look elsewhere in the Leatt range, because the Moto 2.5 X-Flow Junior carries none and has no stated CE certification. Equally, the mesh construction is the opposite of weatherproof; in rain or on cold mornings the hands will feel it.
Colour
Solid orange covers the back and cuff, with a black Leatt logo, black stripes and black chevrons. The palm is grey. Orange stays vivid even with some track dust on it and pairs naturally with orange plastics.
