DescriptionThe whole story▼
In Red, the strapless Leatt Moto 1.5 GripR Mini Glove gives little riders a race-style glove with a thin, grippy palm. Hot tracks, long practice sessions, tight trails: the build stays thin so small hands stay cool and the feedback stays direct. Young riders get the same MicronGrip palm and mesh upper that Leatt uses on the adult 1.5 GripR.
Key Features
- Thin MicronGrip palm that keeps handlebar feedback direct
- Breathable mesh back plus stretch Lycra finger sides
- Snug 3D Concave Palm cut that reduces bulk
- FormFit finger stitching for grip and feel
- Strapless design with an elastic low-profile cuff
- Fingertips that operate compatible touchscreens
- Coats® multi-row stitching where the glove moves most
Breathability
On hot days the mesh back is the feature you notice first: it breathes freely. Between the fingers, stretch Lycra adds airflow and lets the glove flex.
Grip and bar feel
Leatt uses a super-slim MicronGrip palm here, chosen with handlebar feel as the priority. Wet or dry, the MicronGrip surface is made to hold on, and Leatt specifies it for durability as well.
Cuff design
A strapless stretch cuff replaces the usual hook-and-loop tab here. Fewer parts at the wrist means less bulk, in line with the minimalist concept.
Fit and feel
The palm is cut concave in three dimensions and left seamless for a snug, low-bulk fit. The fingers use FormFit stitching, shaped to the hand so control inputs stay precise.
Construction
Durability comes from multi-row stitching in Coats® stretch thread. Leatt specifies polyester for the vented upper and nylon for stitching and reinforcement, with small shares of spandex and silicone.
What you should know
No EN 13594 certification is listed, and the glove carries no armour, so it is about grip and feel rather than impact protection. Cold mornings and heavy rain are outside its comfort zone; the mesh upper has no membrane. Sizes XXS and XS are available, and because the cut is close-fitting, the right size matters more than with a loose glove.
Colour
Bright red covers the upper hand and stretch cuff, with a dark graphic band and Leatt logo across the back. The palm is grey. Red suits red mini bikes and kit and is easy to see on track. It hides light dust better than white, although wet mud will show.
