DescriptionThe whole story▼
The Leatt Moto 1.5 GripR Junior Glove in Blue brings the adult glove's MicronGrip feel to young riders in a strong royal blue. For young riders who choose gloves by feel above all, this is a deliberately low-bulk option. Leatt designed it with young riders in mind, keeping the build light and simple.
Key Features
- Thin MicronGrip palm that keeps handlebar feedback direct
- Stretch Lycra finger sides for flex and extra ventilation
- Pre-shaped 3D palm without seams
- FormFit fingers: natural shape, better feel
- Stretch cuff with a hook-and-loop Hypalon strap
- Touchscreen-compatible fingertips
- Stretch-thread seams by Coats®, multi-row
Grip, wet or dry
Handlebar feedback comes through clearly thanks to the ultra-thin MicronGrip palm. Leatt rates the material for excellent grip in both wet and dry conditions, along with good durability.
Breathability
On hot days the mesh back is the feature you notice first: it breathes freely. Stretch Lycra on the finger sides keeps things flexible and ventilated.
Fit and dexterity
Its 3D Concave Palm pattern and seamless construction reduce bulk where the hand meets the bar. Dexterity is the job of the FormFit construction, stitched to match the hand's natural form.
At the wrist
The stretch cuff tightens with a hook-and-loop tab made from Hypalon. It keeps the fit secure while the cuff itself stays minimal.
How it is made
Several rows of Coats® stretch thread hold the panels together. By weight the glove is mostly polyester (77.32 %), with nylon (12.37 %) and polyurethane (10.31 %).
What you should know
There is no impact protection on the back of the hand, and no EN 13594 class is stated. Cold mornings and heavy rain are outside its comfort zone; the mesh upper has no membrane. In this colour the range covers S to L, with a deliberately snug fit.
Colour
Royal blue fills the upper hand, the fingertips are black, and the Leatt Moto lettering is white; a black tab closes the cuff. The palm is grey. Blue reads clearly on track without shouting, and it is a natural match for blue-themed bikes or kit. Mud shows more than on black, but less than on white.
