DescriptionThe whole story▼
The DriTour 7.5 is the top laminated jacket in Leatt's adventure touring range, and the Royal colourway gives it a bright rally-inspired look. Its HydraDri DRI+ outer layer is rated by Leatt at 35,000 mm water resistance, and unlike the DriTour 5.5 it ships with a chest protector, so the full set of Level 2 armour is in place from the first ride.
Key Features
- HydraDri DRI+ laminated shell: 35,000 mm waterproof, 15,000 g/m² breathable
- Class AA tested and certified to EN 17092-3:2020
- 3DF Level 2 protection for back (EN 1621-2), shoulders and elbows (EN 1621-1)
- Level 2 chest protector to EN 1621-3 included
- Removable thermal liner that works as a standalone insulated jacket
- SuperFabric reinforcements on high-impact zones
- Magnetic closures on the large waterproof front pockets
Three Ways to Wear It
Leatt calls the DriTour 7.5 a three-way jacket. Ride in the laminated shell alone when it is mild, zip in the thermal liner for cold passes, or take the liner off the bike as a casual insulated jacket with two zipped hand-warmer pockets and a mesh pocket. The liner is zipped in at the sleeves, so pulling the jacket on stays smooth.
Full Protection Package
All four impact zones are covered out of the box. Back, shoulders and elbows use 3DF protectors to Level 2, and the chest protector meets EN 1621-3 at Level 2 as well. The complete jacket carries Class AA certification. Lower-arm straps keep the elbow pads in position, and SuperFabric panels add abrasion resistance where a fall is most likely to scrape.
Weather and Airflow
The direct laminated Leatt RipStop outer keeps the waterproof layer on the outside, so the shell does not get waterlogged. For warm stretches, open the chest zips and let air escape through the large mesh panel on the back. Stretch material at the cuffs helps seal the sleeves around your gloves.
Storage and Fit
The front carries large waterproof pockets with magnetic closures that you can open with gloves on, plus hand-warmer pockets and a vertical zipped waterproof phone pocket. At the back sits a large waterproof cargo pocket. A central hook-and-loop waist system, adjusters on the upper and lower arms, hips, cuffs and collar fine-tune the fit. YKK main zips, a long connection zip for pants and neck brace compatibility complete the package.
Visibility and Care
Reflective detailing on the shell supports the light colourway when daylight fades. Leatt backs the DriTour 7.5 with a 5-year warranty and packs it without plastic. A garment loop lets you hang the wet jacket to dry, and since the shell does not absorb water, it is usually ready again by the next morning. For a matching setup, the long connection zip pairs it with Leatt's adventure pants, so the jacket cannot ride up when you stand on the pegs.
What you should know
The DriTour 7.5 weighs around 2,250 g, slightly more than the 5.5, mainly because of the extra chest armour and reinforcements. Like all laminated jackets it has no removable rain layer, so on very hot days you rely on the vents. The light main colour shows dirt quickly. This colour is available in S to 3XL.
Colour
Royal is built on a white and light grey body with warm grey shoulders, deep navy blue sleeves and bold red-orange patches on the upper arms, echoed by red accents on the chest. The light torso and strong red make the jacket easy to spot in traffic and at the side of a trail.
