DescriptionThe whole story▼
The Leatt Hydration MTB Mountain Lite 1.5 sits between a pure race pack and a full touring bag. You get a 1.5 L bladder, 10 L of cargo for a rain jacket, food and spares, and a harness that still feels light on long climbs. It suits epic day rides, bikepacking trips and enduro races with long transfers.
In Ghost Black the pack keeps a low profile, with a dark finish that blends into most riding kits.
Room for a full day out
The 10 L cargo space holds the gear that turns a short loop into a long day: a shell jacket, snacks, a pump, a spare tube. An expandable mesh compartment takes either the bladder or extra items, so you can shift space to where you need it.
A removable tool roll comes in the box. It keeps tools together and can be pulled out and laid on the ground for a trailside repair, then rolled up again.
Carry your helmet and neck brace
On fire-road climbs a full-face helmet is heavy on your head and awkward in your hand. The Mountain Lite 1.5 has a carry system that secures a full-face MTB helmet or a trail helmet, plus a neck brace, on the outside of the pack. At the top you swap helmets and drop in.
Chest harness and routing
Like the other Leatt MTB packs, the Mountain Lite uses a chest harness without a hip strap. One-size adjustable chest straps hold it steady and keep your waist free. The drinking tube can run over the shoulder or under the arm, on the left or the right side, and a magnetic holder keeps it in place.
Ventilation and temperature
AirLine back ventilation keeps air moving across your back to reduce sweat build-up. A thermo-reflective back panel helps keep fluids cool in summer and slows heat loss in winter.
Protection option
The pack is compatible with an optional CE-certified back protector from Leatt. The protector is not included and must be bought separately if you want it.
What you should know
- The back protector is optional and not in the box. Without it the pack provides no impact protection.
- The included bladder holds 1.5 L. On hot all-day rides you may need a refill stop or a bottle on the bike.
- There is no hip strap. With a heavy load of helmet, brace and gear, the weight rests on the shoulders and chest harness.
- Weight is 890 g for the pack, which is more than the Enduro Race 1.5 because of the carry system and tool roll.
