Shaped specifically for women, the Leatt Body Protector 3DF AirFit Evo Women's gives female riders Level 2 chest and back protection without forcing them into a men's cut. The ergonomic fit follows a woman's torso, so the chest pad lies where it should and the compression sock does not gape at the waist or pull across the shoulders.
Underneath, the technology is the same soft 3DF AirFit foam that Leatt uses in its premium soft-shell protector: flexible while riding, built to take several hits, ventilated for long days. With sizes from XXS/XS, it also fits smaller riders who struggle to find certified armour in their size.

A Cut for Women
Leatt describes this version as shaped for women, with a women's-specific ergonomic fit. In practice that means the compression sock and pads are proportioned for a female upper body, and the padded flanks wrap the sides for improved coverage rather than sitting too far forward or back.
The size run is XXS/XS, S/M and L, and Leatt specifies a body height range of 148 to 178 cm. The front zip makes the protector easy to put on, and the elastic chest strap adds a second point of hold over the chest.
Certified Protection
Chest and back reach the higher Level 2 in their CE standards: EN 1621-3 for the chest and EN 1621-2 for the full-length back protector. Shoulders and elbows are certified to EN 1621-1 Level 1. The women's version has its own EU type certificate from Leatt and is approved by the French Motorcycle Federation (FFM).
Leatt gives it 21 points on its in-house protection score, a manufacturer figure used to compare Leatt protectors.
Compared with earlier versions, Leatt mentions a larger chest impact area. Mesh panels are reinforced where airflow matters most, and the compression sock is assembled with flatlock seams so nothing rubs under a tight jersey.
Comfort and Ventilation
3DF AirFit is soft foam that absorbs energy on impact and moves freely the rest of the time. Leatt pairs it with ventilated MoistureCool and AirMesh fabrics, which wick sweat and resist odour, so the women's Evo stays comfortable on hot motocross days and long trail rides alike. The manufacturer quotes a weight from 1.53 kg.

Hand washing is all it needs; Leatt describes the protector as easy to hand wash. It comes in plastic-free packaging.
What you should know
This is a soft-shell protector. Stones and roost meet foam, not a hard plate, so riders who want a shell over the chest should look at a hard-shell or hybrid model. The top size is L; if you need a larger size, the unisex Leatt protectors go up to XXL. Shoulders and elbows are Level 1, the Level 2 rating covers chest and back.
Colour
The women's 3DF AirFit Evo comes in Black. On Leatt's photos, small red dots show through the black mesh across the pads, giving the protector a quietly technical look. Dark colours also hide the sweat and dust that build up over a long riding day.
