Petrol Blue brings colour to the men's Knox Urbane Pro Move without tipping into loud. The deep blue-green with black is the choice for riders who wear their armoured shirt as visible outerwear in summer and want it to look deliberate.
Technically it is identical to the other Move shirts: EN 17092-3 Class AA, Micro-Lock Compact Level 2 armour at shoulders, elbows and along the whole back, and a breathable power mesh lining.

Summer Riding Without a Jacket
Class AA certification means the Urbane Pro Move counts as a protective riding garment on its own. On a hot day you can ride in the Petrol Blue shirt with no outer jacket, knowing the abrasion resistance and the armour are already part of it.
Knox designed the Move for endurance and movement; the fit is close so the armour follows you, and the stretch mesh panels open up when you lean forward.
The Construction
Knox's high-tenacity, abrasion-resistant fabric forms the main panels. In-Motion Mesh, introduced on the Tor, brings stretch and airflow, and a lightweight power mesh replaces the solid linings of earlier shirts. The result is noticeably airier than the previous Urbane Pro generation.
YKK zips are used throughout, the placket carries embossed branding and the neck is finished softly for comfort.
Armour Set-Up
Micro-Lock Compact armour at Level 2 sits at shoulders and elbows, and the back protector is full length to EN 1621-2 Level 2. It is thin and flexible enough to disappear under the shirt's lines.
If you want more coverage, the re-engineered front takes Knox's optional Micro-Lock chest protector on a branded Velcro panel.
Storage and Fastening
Two technical welded outer pockets with reflective overlays and six internal stash pockets keep your things close. A dedicated pocket handles phone, keys or earphones, and a removable visor wipe is included.
Thumb loops stop the sleeves riding up and Knox's highlighted belt loop system lets you fix the shirt to your trousers.
Sizing and Layering Tips
Knox sizes the men's Move from S to 5XL using chest and waist body measurements. Because the shirt is meant to sit close, choose your true size; if you plan to fit the optional chest protector, the re-engineered front already allows for it.
For cooler days Knox suggests adding one of its warm or waterproof Seasonless layers over the Petrol Blue shirt rather than switching to a different jacket, so your armour stays the same all year.
What You Should Know
The Move does not keep out rain or cold; Knox's Seasonless outer layers, such as the Modra or Impass jackets, do that job over the top. The chest protector is not included.
Take the armour out before you machine wash the shirt.
Colour
Petrol Blue is a muted blue with a green undertone, combined with black panels. It stands out from the usual black armoured shirts while staying easy to wear with dark jeans or black riding trousers. It is a little more visible than black by day and absorbs less heat, but it is no substitute for hi-vis; at night the reflective binding and zip pullers matter.
