The women's Knox Urbane Pro MK3 in all black is Knox's core armoured shirt cut for female riders, whatever kind of motorcycle they ride. Worn close to the body, it keeps the armour in place and offers stylish, lightweight, breathable protection.
CE approved as a stand-alone Class AA garment under EN 17092, it can be worn on its own in hot weather with no outer shell. Micro-Lock Compact Level 2 armour sits in the back, shoulders and elbows.

The Core Layer for Women Riders
Knox describes the women's MK3 as the ideal core garment for all female riders. In hot weather it is your riding top; in changing conditions it becomes the abrasion and armour layer beneath warm or waterproof styles from the Knox Seasonless collection.
Its close fit is what keeps the protectors over shoulders, elbows and spine, rather than letting them drift as they would in a loose jacket.
Armour
Thinner, lighter and more flexible Level 2 Micro-Lock Compact armour is fitted in the back, shoulders and elbows. The full back protector is certified to EN 1621-2 Level 2.
A branded Velcro panel inside the front takes an optional Micro-Lock chest protector.
Fabrics
Knox uses high-performance technical fabrics selected for abrasion, cut and tear resistance: high-tenacity stretch nylon combined with a tough, breathable arrownet mesh. Stretch mesh panels add flexibility and comfort.
The result is light and airy enough to wear alone in the heat, which is how Knox intends it to be used in summer.
Features
Two practical front zipped pockets with reflective zip pullers, a visor wipe, four low-profile internal pockets and an earplug pocket provide storage. YKK zips are used throughout.
Soft comfort binding at neck and cuffs, an embossed front placket, discreet stretch reflective binding, thumb loops and Knox's security belt loops complete the shirt.
Sizing the Women's MK3
Knox makes the women's MK3 in XS to 3XL and measures by bust, waist and hip, taken firmly against the body rather than over clothing. Armoured shirts are designed to be fitted, so Knox recommends the next size up if you are between two.
If you plan to add the optional chest protector later, the Velcro mount is already in place inside the front.
How It Fits Into Your Kit
On hot days, wear the MK3 with your riding jeans or trousers and connect it with the security belt loops. When the weather changes, Knox suggests adding a warm or waterproof Seasonless layer on top, such as the women's Modra or Impass jacket, and keeping the MK3 as the protective core.
What You Should Know
The MK3 is a warm-weather piece: it is not waterproof and not insulated. The chest protector is an optional extra and not included.
Remove armour before machine washing. Knox's women's size chart uses bust, waist and hip; sizes run XS to 3XL.
Colour
All Black gives the women's MK3 a sleek, understated look that works with jeans and riding trousers alike. It hides dirt and wear well, warms up more in strong sun than lighter colours, and is not very conspicuous by day; the stretch reflective binding helps at night.
