Through-Rod Technology Explained

Unlike a conventional cartridge where the damping rod passes through one end only, K-Tech's Through-Rod design runs the rod through the full length of the cartridge. This eliminates the dead zone of oil cavitation common under hard braking and aggressive kerb strikes, giving a more linear and predictable damping curve from the first millimetre of travel to the last. The closed-cartridge architecture further isolates the damping fluid from air ingestion, so the fork responds identically on lap one and lap twenty.

Track Performance & Setup

The TRDS-R was developed alongside professional race teams to give privateer and semi-professional competitors the same level of adjustability previously reserved for factory-supported efforts. With 16 compression clicks and 16 rebound clicks available as a starting point, a technician can map the fork's entire characteristic in a single day of testing and then dial in repeatable, session-by-session changes with confidence. The preload collar's 18 mm range accommodates a wide spread of rider weights and spring rates without requiring a full rebuild between events.
