Track-Focused Engineering
The RAZOR-R is K-Tech's entry into serious suspension performance — a unit that carries the same DNA as components found on championship-winning machinery, packaged for a direct OEM swap. On track the nitrogen gas charge is the critical difference: as damping oil heats under repeated compression cycles, a conventional shock can fade and aerate. The sealed N2 charge in the RAZOR-R keeps the oil free of bubbles, so the 12th lap feels identical to the first.
The 12-click compression and 10-click rebound circuits are independently adjustable by hand, letting you respond to changing track temperatures or fuel loads between sessions without specialist tools at the circuit. The upper and lower eye mountings — each 23.00 mm wide with a 10.00 mm bolt diameter — are dimensionally identical to the OEM hardware, so fitment is straightforward using the bike's existing hardware.
Road and Touring Use
Away from the circuit the same adjustability that rewards a fast lap also transforms canyon carving and spirited road riding. Preload adjustment and length adjustment mean the RS 660 can be set up correctly for a solo rider, a loaded sportsbike or anything in between, while the 55.00 mm stroke and 308.00 mm overall length (with a tolerance of -1 mm / +9 mm) fall precisely within the RS 660's OEM suspension envelope.
