Built in the heat of professional competition and refined across the world's most demanding championships — including the British Superbike series and the Isle of Man TT — the K-Tech DDS Pro shock absorber delivers race-derived control to the BMW S1000RR K67 in every corner, on every lap. If you demand championship-grade chassis feedback and traction from your S1000RR, this is the upgrade that delivers it.
Key Features
- 5-way adjustability gives a comprehensive tuning range to suit every riding style and circuit condition
- 32 clicks of compression damping and 32 clicks of rebound damping for precise, repeatable setup changes
- 16-click ByPass Valve (BPV) adjustment delivers fine control of low-speed damping, dramatically improving tyre feedback and grip
- Hydraulic spring preload adjustment allows fast, tool-free setup changes between sessions
- Length adjustment to optimise chassis geometry and weight distribution for individual tracks
- CNC-machined components throughout ensure outstanding rigidity and long-term durability under race loads
- DDS technology with potentiometer mounting points for data-logging integration
Race-Proven DDS Technology
The DDS Pro platform has been developed continuously alongside professional race teams, making it one of the most thoroughly validated aftermarket shock absorbers available for the S1000RR. The patented ByPass Valve system is the centrepiece: by independently controlling low-speed shaft velocities, it allows the suspension to remain composed over smooth tarmac while still responding instantly to kerbs and mid-corner bumps. The result is measurably better tyre contact, shorter braking distances, and the kind of consistent chassis behaviour that lets riders push with confidence lap after lap.
Adjustment & Setup
With five independent adjustment circuits, the DDS Pro gives technicians and riders an exceptionally wide tuning envelope. Factory-recommended baseline settings provide an ideal starting point — 12 clicks compression, 18 clicks rebound, 14 mm preload, 8 clicks BPV — while the full 32-click range on compression and rebound ensures there is headroom to fine-tune for any rider weight, spring rate, or track surface. The 55-155 spring series covers a broad range of rider weights, and multiple spring rates are available to dial in the correct base rate before electronic adjustment begins.
Build Quality
Every DDS Pro unit is manufactured to the tolerances demanded by professional motorsport. The 35 mm RCU body and 12 mm RCU shaft are CNC-machined from high-grade aluminium, and all adjustment circuits are designed for consistent feel across their full range of travel. The 5 mm RCU adjustment range allows precise ride-height tuning without disturbing the overall shock length. Upper and lower mounting eyes are machined to 33 mm width with 12 mm bolt diameters, matching the OEM BMW S1000RR K67 mounting points exactly.
Fitment & Compatibility
This unit is engineered specifically for the BMW S1000RR K67, covering model years 2019 through 2026. Part number 255-019-030-020. Installation requires specialist tools and knowledge; K-Tech recommends fitting by an authorised K-Tech Service Centre to ensure maximum safety and optimal performance.
