The recommended oil and air cap position is 145 mm, compression clicks 12 from full stiff, rebound clicks 18 from full stiff, and spring preload 8 mm. These figures are a calibrated starting point — the 24-click compression range and 30-click rebound range give ample room to move in either direction as you develop your own set-up notes. Professional installation by an authorised K-Tech Service Centre is recommended to ensure correct oil fill, pre-load setting, and torque procedure.
