Ducati fits the Panigale V4 with a die-cast eccentric hub. K-Bike's EX01N swaps that casting for a part machined from solid, designed to be overhauled and documented over its whole service life.
Machined from solid Ergal 7075 T6
The EX01N is machined from a solid block of Ergal 7075 T6 and replaces the original die-cast eccentric hub. Full machining removes the limits of a cast part and gives the hub its stiffness, precision and reliability. It is not a lightweight part, and it is not sold as one: the point is a better-made component that keeps its value.

Overhaul and traceability
K-Bike designs the eccentric to be overhauled. Even if you buy a used motorcycle that already has a K-Bike eccentric fitted, the part can be sent to the K-Bike workshop for inspection and, if needed, an overhaul. After an overhaul K-Bike laser-engraves an identification code and registers the part in its traceability database to:
- certify the overhaul that was carried out
- preserve the technical history of the part
- track work done on it over time
- protect its value and authenticity
With moderate effort the hub can be restored and kept in service for years, keeping both its performance and its value. K-Bike calls this approach EAPO, Engineering Against Planned Obsolescence: instead of deciding when a product should end, the part is designed to last.
For a V4 that sees a lot of track time, the eccentric becomes a long-term part with a documented history.
