The Later Assembly
Ducati changed the throttle housing with the 2025 redesign, which is why this is a separate part number from the earlier V4 body. The registration year settles which is needed.
One Machined Unit
The right-hand controls sit inside the throttle assembly. Renewing either means renewing both, which this component does from a single billet.
Semi-Active Öhlins, Revised
The current S reads a more capable inertial platform and adjusts more finely than its predecessor. On a superbike making this much power, that is where the lap time actually comes from.
Sealed Elements
Contacts enclosed within the machined body. Ingress rather than mechanical wear finishes switchgear on a motorcycle cleaned hot after every outing.
A Cut Bore
The throttle tube turns in a machined bore rather than a formed one, which keeps the reading honest across years rather than seasons.
Black Anodising
Converted into the surface. Against carbon and gold it steps back rather than adding a third material to the conversation.
Cut From Solid
Ergal 7075 at roughly double the yield strength of ordinary machined aluminium. It costs more to cut and it holds a clamping face indefinitely.
A Swingarm Everyone Noticed
Ducati abandoned the single-sided arm on its flagship after decades, because a conventional one was lighter and worked better. Engineering won an argument that styling had held for a generation.
Original Connector
Pre-wired to Ducati's plug, so nothing is spliced. The change is mechanical and entirely reversible.
What the 2025 Bike Changed
A new front frame, a conventional swingarm, revised aerodynamics and a reworked electronics package. Ducati redesigned rather than updated, and the result was quicker in the hands of test riders who had spent years on the previous one, which is the only measure that ultimately counts.
